I love working with custom paintings. I’m passionate about the symbolic power of art; I believe beauty can, in a very tangible way, help us own our stories, reconcile us with them, and give hope a new presence in our lives.

My art tends to concentrate on themes like dreams, memory, and hope; I’ve therefore absolutely loved working together with customers to create pieces that reflect these topics in their lives. I think of paintings as “tangible symbols” - something that can remind us of what matters most, of what we wish to own in our stories. Reminders of who we are.

Colours and shapes have a fascinating power to evoke emotion. A painting changes the feel of the space it is brought into; it affects the atmosphere of the room. What if it’d always remind us of what we love most - or what defines us…? Colours are strong symbols; they carry emotions, memories, hopes, dreams.
