I have to say this piece must have been the hardest yet to photograph…! That rich copper there changes its colour every time I move; first it’s this rich deep red gold, then it gets this pinkish tint, then it turns into a soft burning glow. In the cool morning light it’s gentle and red, in the straight daylight sun it’s pure gold. In direct light it blazes, otherwise it’s a mellow glow. Absolutely gorgeous either way! But I must’ve taken tens and tens of photos to capture even a part of its depth…!
The photos on the left show the copper in different lightings, and I have to say - this painting is one of those that you just have to experience, as the copper is not exactly a colour but a shine. :)
